Last updated June 19, 2026
Applies to: Fleet Manager, Enterprise

This article describes the driver experience when using a shared tablet that has been set up in Tablet Mode. For setup instructions, see Setting Up Tablet Mode.

Step-by-step acknowledgement

  1. The driver opens the tablet's browser (or taps the bookmarked eRegs icon).
  2. A driver selection screen shows all drivers assigned to this tablet. The driver taps their name.
  3. The regulations are displayed for review.
  4. The driver taps I Acknowledge Receipt at the bottom of the screen.
  5. A success screen confirms the acknowledgement. After about 2 seconds, the regulation reader opens automatically.

Switching drivers (slip-seat operations)

For slip-seat fleets where multiple drivers share the same truck and tablet:

  1. The current driver taps the Switch Driver button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. The tablet returns to the driver selection screen.
  3. The next driver selects their name and completes their own acknowledgement.

What the fleet manager sees

After a driver acknowledges on a tablet:

  • The driver's status changes to Acknowledged on the Drivers page.
  • A PDF receipt is generated and available for download.
  • The Device column shows which tablet was used.
  • The Last Seen timestamp updates whenever the driver interacts with the tablet.
